Davis Malm Sponsors and Participates in American Heart Association's 11th Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5K.

On May 22, 2018, Davis Malm participated in the 11th Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5k Road Race and Summer Celebration to benefit the American Heart Association. Davis Malm ranked 15th in fundraising at the time of the race, contributing to the collective total of more than $450,000. This was Davis Malm’s eighth consecutive year participating in the race.

The team of 11 was comprised of attorneys and staff. Daniel T. Janis, Davis Malm shareholder and current Executive Leadership Committee event member, and Joanne Thorud, Davis Malm’s Director of Marketing were team co-captains. Mr. Janis was among the top fundraisers, having brought in over $1,500.

The 2018 Lawyers Have Heart 5k Road Race brought together over 2,000 participants from 127 law firms and companies in the Boston area. Since 2008, Lawyers Have Heart in Boston has worked to raise funds to benefit the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, whose mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
