Haritha D. Ambros and Robert M. Kaitz Participate in BBA's Law Day in the Schools Program

On May 17, 2018, Davis Malm attorneys Haritha D. Ambros and Robert M. Kaitz participated in the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) Law Day in the Schools Program. Aligning with the 2018 theme, “Liberty Under Law: Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy,” Ms. Ambros and Mr. Kaitz read Brave Girl: Clara and the Shirtwaist Makers’ Strike of 1909 to a class of third grade students at the Samuel Adams Elementary School in East Boston.
This year’s theme was chosen in response to recent discussions of the balance of power between law enforcement and citizens. The goal of the program is to teach children how to identify issues, develop a framework of supporting arguments, and respectably show support for an issue or advocate for change.
Ms. Ambros practices in the Business Law area at Davis Malm. She focuses on assisting emerging companies in corporate formation, financings, and related general commercial matters. Ms. Ambros represents clients in a broad array of technology fields, including software, telecommunications, robotics, and medical devices.
Mr. Kaitz practices in the Employment and Litigation area at Davis Malm. He is a trial lawyer focusing primarily on employment, professional liability, and business litigation matters, as well as employment counseling.
Now in its 32nd year, the BBA Law Day in the Schools Program offers attorneys a chance to give back to Boston public schools by teaching over 1,500 students about the American legal system.
