Lawrence J. Casey Selected as Mentor for SBANE's New England Innovation Awards Program

Davis Malm shareholder Lawrence J. Casey has been selected as a mentor for the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) Innovation Awards Program. Mr. Casey will work with four companies from various industries to review pitches and presentations, and advise on best practices throughout the three-phase selection process. Winners will be announced at the SBANE Innovation Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner on May 11, 2017.

Mr. Casey practices in the Business Law, Employment, and Litigation areas. He has more than 30 years of experience successfully litigating complex employment-related matters on behalf of executives, professionals, and employers in trials in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and agency hearings. Mr. Casey has also argued appeals before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and Massachusetts Appeals Court. His representation of individuals in court, arbitrations, and mediations has resulted in numerous judgments and settlements in excess of a million dollars.

SBANE aims to provide a legislative voice for small businesses at the state and federal levels and to make practical information available to help business owners grow their companies. SBANE runs diverse, educational and networking programs each year and has active chapters in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
