Lawrence J. Casey Moderates SBANE's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Best Practices

On March 2, 2017, Davis Malm shareholder Lawrence J. Casey moderated a panel at the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Best Practices program. Mr. Casey guided panelists through a discussion on cybersecurity and privacy best practices, planning and risk management trends, and responses to breaches and attacks. The session was designed to educate small businesses on the importance of cybersecurity and provide a foundation for them to build their own data security plans.

Mr. Casey practices in the Business Law, Employment, and Litigation areas. He has more than 30 years of experience successfully litigating complex employment-related matters on behalf of executives, professionals, and employers in trials in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and agency hearings. Mr. Casey has also argued appeals before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and Massachusetts Appeals Court. His representation of individuals in court, arbitrations, and mediations has resulted in numerous judgments and settlements in excess of a million dollars.
