Davis Malm Shareholder Andrew D. Myers served as a company mentor at VentureWell's Accelerating Startup Partnerships and Investment Readiness (ASPIRE) program, July 12-14, in Boston. As part of the program’s designated office hours, Mr. Myers shared his corporate law expertise with nine teams during individual mentoring sessions to help them develop the documents, skills and abilities to effectively raise investment and cultivate key partnerships.

Mr. Myers concentrates his practice on the representation of emerging businesses in corporate, finance, and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, venture capital transactions, and joint ventures. He also handles day-to-day legal matters, such as initial organization, licensing, supply and distribution arrangements, employment arrangements, equity incentive plans, trade secret protection, and Internet commerce agreements.

Mr. Myers also represents venture capital firms in early stage and mezzanine financing transactions, and private equity firms in investments, buy-outs and restructurings. He represents businesses in a wide range of industries, including software, advanced materials, medical devices, manufacturing, computer peripherals, Internet commerce, consumer products, service industries, distribution, and entertainment.
