Davis Malm welcomes shareholder Richard J. Hindlian to the Tax and Business Law areas. Mr. Hindlian focuses primarily on tax controversies, international and domestic tax planning, and employee benefit plans. He represents publicly held and private corporations, banks, individuals, nonprofit organizations, and other entities in connection with matters involving mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, venture capital financings, leveraged buyouts, ESOPs and other qualified plans, leasing transactions, tax litigation, estate tax planning, and foreign investments made in the United States and overseas. He has extensive experience in all aspects of plan sponsor employee benefits, including litigation, and has also represented government plans that are exempt from ERISA.
