Davis Malm attorney Samuel B. Moskowitz has been reappointed to serve as cochairman of the Boston Bar Association's Real Estate Section Pro Bono Committee. Mr. Moskowitz will serve as cochair with a new cochair, Andrew H. Cohn of Hale and Dorr LLP. Mr. Moskowitz has served as cochairman of the committee since 1998. Although BBA committee chairs customarily serve two-year terms, the Association reappointed Sandy as he has been an integral part of the committee's creation and operation of the highly regarded Lawyer for the Day Program at the Boston Housing Court. Under that program, volunteer lawyers advise and assist low-income and unrepresented individuals with evictions, eviction defenses and mediations.

In addition to serving as cochair of Boston Bar Association's Real Estate Section Pro Bono Committee, Mr. Moskowitz continues to serve as the Boston Bar Association's Real Estate Section representative on the Land Court Committee on Registered Land Guidelines, which is in the process of preparing revised guidelines to be published later this year.
