On August 1, 2007, Davis Malm attorney Samuel B. Moskowitz served as a panel member in a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminar, "Litigating Real Estate Disputes." The program covered topics ranging from traditional title disputes, condominium law and litigation to equitable subrogation and land use litigation while also providing an update on important, recent trial and appellate court decisions. Mr. Moskowitz and other members of the panel focused on selected topics of note and discussed substantive issues of law. They also discussed practical approaches to litigation and alternative dispute resolution and practice and procedure in the Massachusetts Land Court. The panel included the participation of Land Court Chief Justice Karyn F. Scheier, Associate Justices Leon J. Lombardi and Keith C. Long, and Court Recorder Deborah J. Patterson, who discussed recent developments in Land Court practice and procedures.
