Davis Malm attorney Thomas S. Fitzpatrick won a summary judgment decision concerning indemnification of a corporate officer. The corporate officer had caused the corporation, over the objections of the firm's clients, to spend corporate funds in the defense of a shareholder suit. The Norfolk Superior Court granted summary judgment for our clients and ruled that the corporate officer must reimburse the corporation for the funds spent on his defense.
