On September 15, Davis Malm shareholder William F. Griffin, Jr. served as a discussion leader for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program Practicing with Professionalism. This program is required for all lawyers newly-admitted to the Massachusetts bar on or after September 1, 2013, and is coordinated by the SJC’s Standing Advisory Committee on Professionalism. The one-day program is the fourth of five sessions offered by MCLE and enables participants to build a foundation in professionalism that will serve them throughout their careers. Mr. Griffin and three other panelists led a Q&A discussion during the Real Estate/Business Law lunchtime program. This informal format offered a networking and mentoring opportunity for new lawyers to interact and facilitate conversations with professionals in their desired practice area.

He primarily represents privately owned and publicly held businesses in a variety of business and real estate transactions. He has also acted as bond counsel in many tax-exempt bond financings.
