On May 30, Davis Malm shareholder Sam A. Mawn-Mahlau served as a moderator and introduced a keynote speaker at the annual TiECON East Conference organized by TiE-Boston and sponsored by Davis Malm & D’Agostine, P.C. The panel titled “Connected Health” was chaired by Mr. Mawn-Mahlau and focused on how changes within the next five years will impact the Healthcare sector. The panel discussed how new technology and policy trends are breaking the traditional boundaries in the Healthcare ecosystem, the difficult challenges that still need to be solved within this sector, and how these new trends can contribute to improving patient outcomes while reducing costs. Mr. Mawn-Mahlau also introduced Sarvajna Dwivedi, founder and CSO of Pearl Therapeutics, Inc.

TiECON East is the largest startup conference on the East Coast. The two-day event brings together established and startup entrepreneurs from several sectors such as technology, life sciences, education, and clean tech, and features prominent keynote and panel speakers.

Sam A. Mawn-Mahlau practices in the Business Law area.
