On February 11, Davis Malm attorney Paul L. Feldman presented at the "Zoning Practice: MCLE BasicsPlus" seminar. This seminar was designed for the practitioner who needs a solid understanding of zoning, including the basics for both residential and commercial properties, handling issues that arise when special permits or variances are required, dealing with nonconforming uses and structures, and dealing with the Land Court and municipalities. Mr. Feldman was part of a faculty comprised of experienced real estate experts.

Mr. Feldman is a shareholder in the Business Law, Litigation, and Real Estate and Environmental areas and served as President of the firm for over ten years. His real estate practice involves all aspects of real estate work, including acquisition, leasing, permitting, and financing work. He represents several active and substantial real estate developers. Mr. Feldman appears before municipal boards and state agencies as well as all levels of the Massachusetts state court system. His environmental practice focuses on contamination matters, wetlands permitting, waterways licenses, and MEPA. He has represented Fortune 100 companies in connection with several federal Superfund sites and many smaller businesses with Chapter 21E matters. His practice involves governmental enforcement actions, regulatory compliance matters, and cost recovery litigation.
