C. Michael Malm

Practice Focus and Experience

C. Michael Malm is one of the founding partners of Davis Malm. He practices in the Business Law area where he serves as general counsel and advisor to private and publicly held businesses, from start-ups to mature companies. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, financings and joint ventures. Michael also practices in the Real Estate area where he represents real estate developers, property owners, and commercial tenants with acquisitions, development, financings, and leasing.

Upon graduating from law school, Michael served for two years as the Executive Director of a community development program in Palau, Western Caroline Islands, U.S. Trust Territory of the Pacific. In 1979, Michael joined four other attorneys and founded the partnership of Davis, Malm & D'Agostine, predecessor to Davis, Malm & D'Agostine, P.C.

Representation of NYSE-listed company in numerous acquisitions, ranging in value from $2 million to $1.2 billion.
Advisor to start-up, social media company providing free websites to all political and non-political candidates.
Sale of numerous privately owned companies providing services to the oil and gas industries, to private equity and strategic buyers, ranging in value from $25 to $125 million.
Sale of precision design and manufacturing company.
Sale of $8 million New York based market research company to strategic acquirer.
Acquisition and financing of privately held specialty steel fabrication company.
Acquisition, financing, development and leasing of a 214,000 square foot research and development facility.
Acquisition, development, financing and sale of 280-unit apartment complex.
Counsel to New England Honda Dealers Advertising Association and dealers of various automobile franchises.
